Biography

Bijan Alizadeh is an Associate Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Tehran (UT) where he leads the Design, Verification and Debugging of Embedded Systems (DVDES) Lab. His research interests include digital system verification and debug, design automation of embedded systems, reconfigurable computing, hardware security, and high-level synthesis.

He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Tehran in 2004. Prior to joining the University of Tehran, he was a Research Associate in VLSI Design and Education Center (VDEC), University of Tokyo, Japan and he spent several years in Emad Semiconductor Corp and Microelectronic Research and Development Centre (MERDCI). He has authored or co-authored over 130 publications in international scientific journals and conferences. He has been engaged in the research and development of VLSI systems, FPGA-based reconfigurable computing, formal verification and debug, hardware security, and high-level synthesis. Dr. Alizadeh is a Senior Member of IEEE.
